He knows how to score, on and off the ice
Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn’t have the first clue about what she's going to do after college. To make matters worse, she’s nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.
It’ll take more than flashy moves to win her over
Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls…he’s a ladies man, all right, and he’s yet to meet a woman who’s immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world—and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It’s not over until he says it’s over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to stop focusing on scoring…and shoot for love.

The best way to describe The Score is FUN, just pure FUN!! Well not so pure, Dean and Allie are dirty!!
I smiled, roared with laughter, and highlighted so freaking much while reading this book. As you probably know Dean is the famed man-whore in the series, the good time guy, and the one nobody takes seriously. Allie is Hannah’s best friend, the relationship girl, and she has a plan for her future. Allie is recovering from a breakup but is having a hard time letting go. She love’s being in a relationship but knows this one needed to end. To avoid the temptation of taking Sean back she hides out at Garrett and Hannah’s place while they are gone. And you guessed it Dean is the only one home and he makes his move. Let’s face it Allie doesn’t stand a chance; he is smoking hot, never wears a shirt, and he makes her laugh.
Dean and Allie were fantastic together and they burned up the pages. Allie can handle Dean and vice versa, they were hilarious. I loved that they learned to trust each other and fostered their friendship all while burning up the sheets. Ms. Kennedy did a great job of showing them falling in love with each other and not just changing their whole lives with an insta-love story. Dean starts out really confused about why his dick only likes Allie, but he goes with it and is willing to see where life takes him. Just because Dean is a rich boy and a player doesn’t mean he didn’t have any depth, he is a really smart guy from a great family. Allie is dealing with the ups and downs of her acting career and being torn up by possibly leaving her ailing father. I understood why she was so torn up about her dad, Dean, and life. I loved Allie, she was strong, determined, and full of life.
I really enjoyed The Deal and The Mistake but The Score is hands down my 5 star in the series. Well done.
P.S. – OMG, that ending! I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING. I can’t wait for Tucker’s book.

Absolutely my favorite in the series thus far. Dean and Allie together are utterly fantastic. Allie is hilarious, she never fails to call Dean out on anything, and she's actually quite comedic, too. Dean is way more than the dumb jock than he appears to be in the previous books.
Dean and Allie have their challenges, though. Their path isn't completely smooth, but I adore the way they work their way through their problems together. The tumult in their relationship is sad, and then frustrating, but I think the way it played out was perfect and only strengthened them in the end.
And whew.....those last few lines have me wondering what's gonna happen next!

What can I say, Dean surprised the heck out of me!
He's all carefree and man-whore but once he falls... Ahhhh! He can be gentle and he can make your panties fly across the room!
But enough about Dean. The story itself is pretty good, not as good as book 1, but then again, that's my fave and seems it can't be topped. That doesn't mean I didn't like this one. I did. It took me a little to get into it, Allison was a little confusing - and okay, irritating, as well - what with her back-and-forth about her ex. But I admired the fact that, once she did make up her mind, she stuck to it. She sure didn't see it coming with Dean!
I think nobody did, to be honest.
So, there came the funny parts but also a part that pissed me off, but seems it was needed for Dean to grow up, a little. Life's too easy for him, it seems. So yeah, I laughed, I cried, I fanned myself, because let's not forget, this is Elle Kennedy we're talking about and yes, she can write one heck of a sex scene!
4 stars and I am really curious about the next book. That ending... Yup. Hopefully soon! I want to thank the author for this copy given in exchange for my honest review.

TONI
4.5 stars
This book has a bit of everything that makes a great romance story. Allie and Dean have awesome chemistry. The relationship evolves over time, beginning as a hookup and continuing into love. Nothing about the progression feels unbelievable. They know they aren't instantly in love but understand this is more than just a common fling. They make each other and the reader laugh, and this duo aren't afraid to get kinky for sure.
Dean is mega rich. I like how you wouldn't know that if it wasn't stated. He's down-to-earth and treats others well. He's smart and athletic, as in Harvard Law acceptance and multiple Frozen Four wins. Mr. Heywood-Di Laurentis is also a big ladies man (before his night with Allie). He was always available for a little fun with girls who understood ahead of time that it was nothing more.
Allie has lots of good points too. On several occasions she's in situations where she could base her happiness on a man, but she chooses to do what's best for her. I respect that. She's serious about life and freaky in the bedroom.
The Score is an awesome ride filled with many of life's ups and downs like the everyday, sexy, funny, sad and shocking. It kept me interested. Sports and contemporary romance readers should definitely check it out. I can't wait for the next novel in this series.
