Seeing Evan again is taking a toll on me, I can’t sleep and my mind is in a constant state of turmoil. I wake up in the middle of the night from dreams of us. The memories of him, of us are too much. Some memories have the ability to heal. The ability to light up the dark because the beauty of the memory is so bright you’re still able to bask in it.
But the memories of us are killing me slowly. They remind me that for one moment I had everything while reminding me it’s gone. It’s the realization that we’re done that’s killing me. The realization that I can see him but can’t touch him that he exist but he’s not mine is agonizing.

Congratulations, Ms. Reynolds. You’ve managed to continue
my smitten streak with your Until series again. These kids are growing up so
fast. Once tiny little cookie munchers are now adults falling in love with hot
alpha men who take our breath away. Already once married…to each other… these
two couldn’t deny their chemistry. When June’s house is broken into that is the
nudge Evan needs to stop thinking he isn’t good enough and time
for them to work on fixing what went wrong in their marriage. I’ll admit there
were parts of this book that got a little slow for me, but overall I give it 4 stars.

This was a classic ARR read in the sense that it features her over the top alpha males and the women who fall for them. I liked that this was a bit different in the fact that June and Evan’s story was a second chance romance. Due to ARR’s style her couples usually fall for each other and there is no going back. June and Evan were actually together three years prior, they had a whirlwind romance, and got married. Evan screws up big time when he serves June with divorce papers while he is overseas. She doesn’t get any explanation and her heart is broken. In present day Evan is now back in June’s life but he stays away until her life is threatened. Of course in classic alpha fashion he decides he is going to have her back and she doesn’t get a say in it. I liked both Evan and June. The story did slow for me a little bit but I have to say this is probably one of the steamiest ARR books. Evan is a dirty boy and I love it. The Until series is my go to for a quick dirty read with some alpha goodness so if you a fan you will love this book.
