He knows everything.
She has all the damn answers.
I’ve always been a free spirit. It’s my nature.
I crave control, but with her it’s far more.
He’s a power hungry climber.
Her wealth could buy and sell me.
It’s too much pressure being the center of anyone’s focus.
She underestimates my desire for her, my need to please just her.
When he’s vulnerable, it’s hard to deny him.
Her crooked smile cripples me.
He hides his demons, but I’m no fool.
She thinks not committing to anyone makes her more honest. She’s wrong.
A man like him deserves someone who can offer that kind of love.
She promises nothing, yet I feel like a king when she says my name.
I never let anyone possess me like he did. Not before. Not after.
My greatest regret was compromising. I should have never held back.
Still, when we’re apart I’m not myself.
I miss the days when she was just down the hall.
He’s better off without me, and it hurts.
The ugly truth is I need her more than she needs me.
Our relationship was born out of lust and curiosity.
The lies we told ourselves killed it.
Together, we found Nirvana.
We learned it was all a mirage.
I ruined him.
I broke her heart.
I keep coming back.
I can’t let her go.
KNOT is a contemporary romance and a complete standalone. It is the first spin-off from the best-selling Wake Series. You do not need to read BAIT, SAIL, or ANCHOR to enjoy this book in its entirety, but if you love angst you'll enjoy them, too.

Amy's Review
This is between 3.5-4* stars for me. It took me a good 25-30% to really get into the book, and quite honestly, I almost gave up a couple of times. The last 2/3 of the book finally pulled me in and I could finally understand Nora and Reagan's relationship a little better.
Nora and Reagan don't have an easy relationship by any means. Reagan is strictly a one-woman kind of guy, whereas Nora considers herself polyamorous. They're both quite attracted to each other, but don't know how/if they can move forward with such dynamic differences in opinion as to how a relationship should work. I liked that they both were willing to compromise a bit to see if they could make something work with each other. Nora and Reagan also both have personal issues that occasionally interfere with their relationship, but it's nothing that can't be overcome, if they would just talk to each other.
This story is told partly in the present, and partly via flashbacks to how Nora and Reagan met, which I enjoyed. If you're a fan of M. Mabie's Wake series, then I think you would enjoy this one as well.

Shanda’s Review
I struggled with this book big time. It took me at least to the 30% mark to get into the story and I almost dnf’d 3 times. I felt the beginning of Knot was very confusing because so many things were unsaid and I couldn’t really tell what the major conflict was for Reggie and Nora.
Reggie is a monogamous kind of guy and is currently dating when he crosses paths with Nora. He can’t stop thinking about her and tries to pursue her. Nora is polyamorous and although she is attracted to Reggie she doesn’t believe she can give him what he needs. Their back and forth was exhausting to me and I think part of that was because I never really understood it. I think if I could have learned about Nora on a deeper level maybe I could understand why she pushed back so hard with Reggie. I did think Reggie tried harder than Nora to find a way but he was pushy and wanted things his way too. At times I wasn’t sure what he was fighting for because he wasn’t getting anything back. I also would have liked to learn more about Reggie’s anxiety.
Reggie and Nora did have great sexual chemistry but I wasn’t really sure about a forever with them because I wasn’t sure about their connection. If you love a story with lots of push and pull or angst you will probably love this story.
