REVIEW
Transfer picks up right where Retrieval left off. It heavily focuses on Clare’s story but you do get a lot of Roman and Elisabeth in the story as well. I really can’t say anything story related because it will spoil but this was a great conclusion to this duet.
Clare was a strong character and I really felt for all she has been through. I was really glad to see her come out even stronger in the end and seek retribution. I think her hero was exactly what she needed and he was pretty damn great. Alpha, protective, sweet, and 100% committed to seeing her come out the other side after the horrific prison she was in.
This didn’t quite reach five stars for me because of the some of the suspense. Without saying too much I get very frustrated with stories where the alphas have tons of security and they pull out all the stops and it isn’t enough. It starts to make the heroes look silly to me.
I will say one of my favorite parts was Roman and Elisabeth in the movie theatre. You got to see a lighter side of them and they were so cute and fun. And without a doubt the epilogue was fabulous and it put a smile on my face. Bottom line this was a great duet and it continues Aly’s streak and confirms why she is on my auto buy list. The Retrieval Duet should definitely be on your TBR list. It is full of suspense, passion, love, loss, and it was a super-fast paced thrill ride. Great Job!
