FIGHT OR FLIGHT by Samantha Young IS LIVE!!!
A series of chance encounters leads to a sizzling new romance from the New York Times bestselling author of the On Dublin Street series.
The universe is conspiring against Ava Breevort. As if flying back to Phoenix to bury a childhood friend wasn't hell enough, a cloud of volcanic ash traveling from overseas delayed her flight back home to Boston. Her last ditch attempt to salvage the trip was thwarted by an arrogant Scotsman, Caleb Scott, who steals a first class seat out from under her. Then over the course of their journey home, their antagonism somehow lands them in bed for the steamiest layover Ava's ever had. And that's all it was--until Caleb shows up on her doorstep.
When pure chance pulls Ava back into Caleb's orbit, he proposes they enjoy their physical connection while he's stranded in Boston. Ava agrees, knowing her heart's in no danger since a) she barely likes Caleb and b) his existence in her life is temporary. Not long thereafter Ava realizes she's made a terrible error because as it turns out Caleb Scott isn't quite so unlikeable after all. When his stay in Boston becomes permanent, Ava must decide whether to fight her feelings for him or give into them. But even if she does decide to risk her heart on Caleb, there is no guarantee her stubborn Scot will want to risk his heart on her....

Ava and Caleb meet on a flight to Boston. After several hiccups to get on her flight, one of those being Caleb, she is finally on her way. Until she gets her seat and realizes she has to sit next to the insufferable jerk. Upon arriving in Boston, these two end up running into each other. Their anger ignites into passion. They agree to keep hooking up until Caleb returns to Scotland.I really liked Ava. It was clear she was driven, loyal, kind, and loving. Caleb was a bit harder to connect to. He was pretty cold and disconnected from Ava. He believes himself incapable of loving anyone after his ex betrayed him. I liked the sparring between Caleb and Ava. They were sexy together. Although I liked the sparring, I think Caleb was a bit too nasty at times. He used things Ava shared with him to lash out. I did feel the ending or makeup for these two was rushed. I think Caleb should have had to grovel. He got off too easy imo. An extended epilogue would have been great too. I will admit I could not put this down. If you like Samantha Young’s books, you will love this.

Ava meets Caleb when he practically knocks her over a ticketing gate. She finds him rude, abrasive and annoying. Caleb only sees the surface of Ava and doesn't seem to like her much, either. Over the course of the next few days, they keep running into each other and finally decide to vent their frustration.I liked Ava...she was a character who was easy to relate to. Caleb I had a harder time connecting with because of his rudeness and abrasiveness....and sometime he was just downright mean. We do eventually get to see a softer side to him, but it's much farther in than I would like.I enjoyed their story quite a bit, but I'm hoping we'll see something on the horizon for Jamie and/or Harper.
