First, I recommend you read the novella, 4.5, so you can get the pseudo-prologue to the book. It still makes sense, but why not read more WDMC books, since they're good? Second, I really liked it. Story's about our heroine needing protection, needing to stay hidden from the bad guys. Our heroine is Talon's cousin. The guy needing to protect her - our hero - is from the rival MC. Yup, bound to be fun! And it is. He's a jerk, a real a-hole that thinks he knows the heroine and judges her, but I loved how she showed him how wrong he was, knocked him down a peg or ten. Like always, it's fast-paced, the right amount of drama, hot scenes and funny ones in it. I am eager to read more, see what happens next. 4 - 4.5 stars. I hope Chantal Fernando never stops writing MC books, she's good at them. I was given acopy by the publishers in exchange for my honest review. Thank you.
