The hits keep coming from Emery Rose. So happy to get Brody’s story, what a great character he is, and then throw the little spitfire Shiloh into the mix and you have a romance lovers dream come true. Loyalty, devotion, humor and love tick all the boxes for me.  Cannot wait for more of the McCallister family.  5 stars

*My Review*

Yep, she’s done it yet again. A gozillion words under her belt and she still manages to create amazing stories that never lack originality. This second installment of SCRMC surpassed the first, and that shocks the hell out of me because I fell so hard for Lynn and Six. Troup is that boy that everyone secretly wants, but only one will ever have his heart. Beckham’s immediate and extended family would be a hard pill to swallow for anyone not within their inner circle. I literally wanted to kick Foster in his teeth a few times, but he eventually redeemed himself as per usual with many of LLV’s prior characters. This is yet another example of the power of love and strength between two kindred souls and the depths they will go to for their happily ever after. 5 stars

Wrong place at the right time. Mayor Lynnwood Thatcher Windsor…yes please sir, I’d like more 😊
Strong, genuine, and total badass are just a few of the words to describe Mr. Mayor…hot AF alpha is another. To have lived the life that he has and still be able to tell good from evil is rare in this day and age, but Lynn manages to do just that…until Six wanders in. Hell on heels is an understatement when describing Six Ines Broussard. She is his strong and badass equal in more ways than one. While Lynn is building his crew of misfits to tackle the corruption and evil of the world, he now how a feisty woman on his hands, and he is really, really, good with his hands. I LOVED this story and am so excited for this new series. 5 stars
