My first L.M. Halloran book and I still cannot figure out why I hadn’t come across her before, she is magnificent!!!! I’m hooked and in for the long haul woman. Perfect Vision was not the typical BDSM Dom/sub story; it went so far beyond that and then some. London is incredible, she’s fun, outgoing, and the lack of filter makes her damn near perfect. Dominic…whew, hello there alpha personified sex on a stick; you make us all weak in the knees and begging to be punished. Mystery and intrigue fuel this not-your-everyday-romance and turn it into a nail biter with twists, turns, and surprises on every page. You won’t be disappointed with this story, and like me, will be begging for more. I was given this copy in exchange for an honest review. 5 Stars. ~Lady TaTa~

SHANDA 4.5 stars

Admittedly book one was not my favorite. I was afraid that Buckled would come across as filler because I was not that intrigued by Jarret and Maybe. I am glad I was wrong. I thought their chemistry was explosive. Buckled is more angsty and erotic than I expected it to be. I also thought it was a bit more romantic. I loved it. As these two fall in love, they are both keeping secrets that can ruin them. As you know from book one Jarret’s secrets are ugly. His secrets were a great tie in to Maybe’s backstory.
I cannot wait to get my hands on Lorne’s book as it concludes this family’s story. I am really dying to know him. So far, he has been a mystery. It will be interesting to see how he handles life after getting out. I am curious about Raina’s secrets as well. What is going on with her? I can’t wait to find out.
If you want to see how Pam Godwin takes on dark cowboys (although not as dark as Pam’s previous works) you will not be disappointed. I thought this book in particular had a lot of heart. Buckled has secrets and drama but it is also steamy and romantic.

I enjoyed this more than book one, but had a hard time staying engaged, although not sure why. That said, I liked that Maybe made Jarrett work for it. I think they balanced each other well. I'm not exactly sure how they will get over some of the issues ahead of them, but I'm sure they'll think of a way.

All that being said, I'm still really looking forward to Lorne's story.
