Waking up in Vegas was never meant to be like this.

Evelyn Thomas's plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man in her room, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened.

One thing is certain, being married to one of the hottest rock stars on the planet is sure to be a wild ride.

Review

Imagine waking up in Vegas, hung over as hell with a hot guy taking care of you. Dream come true, huh? Maybe for everyone else but that's not the case with Evelyn. She went to Vegas with her best friend to have a great time, yes, but she didn't plan on marrying a total stranger. One that happens to be the guitar player in a famous rock band. Evelyn doesn't even like rock music.
But things change as she gets to know her husband - after he stops being a jerk, of course, though I did fall in love with David Ferris from the first scene - and she decides to give him, them a try.
All's well until David's skeletons from the closet decide to join in on the fun and mess up everything. Secrets are a big no-no and David learns that the hard way.
This isn't the first time I've read this book. I think it's my third time and it won't be the last. Each and every time I fall for it all over again; for David, who happened to be my favorite until that asshole Jimmy came along and changed himself and dethroned his little brother. But that happens later because in this one, he's an ass then a reformed one.
Mal is a riot, always was and always will be, while Ben's a mystery.
No, this book isn't smut. It's not nonstop sex or orgies. But that doesn't really matter because the story, in itself, is pretty damn awesome, the characters get under your skin - i.e. Jimmy - and they stay with you, long after you've finished reading the book.

Five stars. I highly recommend it because it has the rock star lifestyle, love, funny scenes and hot ones too. And this book is just the beginning.
