Review The Return, A Titan Novel by Jennifer L Armentrout

Title: The Return
Author: Jennifer L Armentrout
Series: A Titan Novel
Release Date: February 16th 2015

Synopsis

The Fates are cackling their bony asses off…

It’s been a year since Seth made the deal with the gods that pledged his life to them. And so far, the jobs they’ve given him have been violent and bloody–which is kind of all right with him. But now Apollo has something else in mind for Seth. He’s got to play protector while keeping his hands and fingers off, and for someone who really has a problem with restraint, this new assignment might be the most challenging yet.

Josie has no idea what this crazy hot guy’s deal might be, but it’s a good bet that his arrival means the new life she started after leaving home is about to be thrown into an Olympian-sized blender turned up to puree. Either Josie is going insane or a nightmare straight out of ancient myth is gunning for her.

But it might be the unlikely attraction simmering between her and the golden-eyed, secret-keeping Seth that may prove to be the most dangerous thing of all.

Because history has once again been flipped to repeat.

Book 1 in the new adult paranormal TITAN series, spin-off to the best selling COVENANT series.

OMG I freaking loved this book!

Where to start?

1. It's Jennifer L Armentrout. I read a few books by her, was never disappointed. That woman can tell a story like no other.

2. It's PNR.

3. It has Greek mythology.

All of those things are the recipe for one of the best books I've read this year!

This is the spin-off from another series, but you wouldn't tell. I was never confused or scratched my head, wondering who, what, where and how. I felt like I've already read the other series, when I haven't.

Seth is wow. WOW, I'm telling you! He's big, bad and blonde. Practically, my perfect guy LOL

Josie is straight-up awesome. I love her. I want her as my BFF.

Both of them had been dealt with a crappy fate, but oh, in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter. This is a story told from both POVs, it flows perfectly, it grips you and keeps you glued to the book. I stayed up late, reading and wasn't happy that I had to go to bed.

I can only say this, I CANNOT wait for book 2! It's bound to be epic!

Yes, it was frustrating that it took Seth a while to kiss her - the song from The Little Mermaid, Kiss the Girl, kept playing in my mind and then, when they finally kissed, it turned a bit R-rated, the lyrics changing heh.

5 +++ stars. After reading this book, what I'm going to do is pick up the books I haven't read by Jennifer L Armentrout/J. Lynn and read them. She is, by far, a favorite of mine and only a few can deliver a story like she does. Amazing.
