Wicked
Heart- Leisa Rayven
Honestly,
this is my favorite book in this series so far; although I enjoyed both Bad
Romeo and Broken Juliet, Wicked Heart just drew me in more. Elissa (Ethan's
fiery, feisty sister) shines in this book. She's forced to work with her lost
love, Liam and his fiance, Angel, on a play she is stage managing. They agree
to be friends for the benefit of the play, and this actually works out quite
well for a while. Liam then reveals some information to Elissa that she wasn't
expecting, which spins her entire perception of the past 6 years on its head. I
really liked that Liam and Elissa were mature about their previous relationship
and talked to each other about their issues, both past and present. Angel,
despite being the character you wanted to dislike, was a wonderful addition to
Elissa's life. And Elissa's roommate, Josh, was a breath of fresh air that
helped to keep some of the scenes light, when they needed it. I liked that in
the end, everything was as it should be, and the drama that ensued was actually
well done.
