BAD BOY BRODY by Tijan

Publish Date May 7th, 2018
Audiobook is coming SOON!

One punch took him from Hollywood’s Golden Boy to Bad Boy Brody.

The media didn’t care he was grieving his brother’s death. They descended on him, but to change his reputation, his manager got him a deal.

Act in an indie film, one that already had Oscar buzz, and he’d get the movie roles he needed to secure his future.

He took the deal.

Yet he wasn’t prepared for the real-life people behind the script.

He wasn’t prepared for the murder the movie was based on.

And he really wasn’t prepared for her, the biggest secret of all.

She was wild. She was beautiful. She defied gravity.

But was she the leading role that would tame him?

Bad Boy Brody by Tijan

Tijan is one of a few authors who is an automatic read for me. I fall into her books and the words fly by and this standalone book was no exception.

Brody is on the cusp of making it huge as a Hollywood actor when on the night of his big premiere he gets a feeling that something isn't right & calls his brother who he tragically hears die in a car crash. Grieving, Brody turns to drink trying to cope with his emotions and life takes a rapid downward spiral.

When Brody half emerges from this dark tunnel he finds his reputation in tatters and betrayed by those that should have protected him.

In order to get his career back on track and prove to the movie company that he isn't a risk, he agrees to make a smaller movie based on a true story about a family called the Kellermans called Unbroke. This takes Brody to the mountains in Montana and the family ranch, which is the location of the film set. It's here in the wild, Brody catches his first glimpse of a girl he thinks might be a ghost.

Morgan Kellerman was 10 years old when her mother was murdered and her existence has been kept a secret. Morgan has lived her life in solitude with a herd of wild mustangs and lives more animal than human. She has a beautiful bond with a female horse called Shoal & her foal Shiloh, who Morgan thinks of as a "sister". Morgan has emotionally detached from society and she needs the outdoors & the wild to survive.

This was so much more than a romance, it's truely written with such emotion and beauty added to that the story has a mysterious feel to it. Tijan teases the reader giving you so many questions that need answering, it was packed with lies, deceit and twists you were left wondering throughout how it was going to end.

I adored both Morgan & Brody's characters, Morgan was so different and unique and although her and Brody came from totally different worlds, they fit together perfectly like two pieces of a broken puzzle.

4 & a half couldn't-put-it down stars.
