Title: Searing Ecstasy
Author: Setta Jay
Series: Guardians of the Realms #7
Release Date: October 7th 2015
Synopsis
Drake, the powerful dragon and leader of the Guardians, has
spent his long life protecting all inhabitants of the four Realms, but fails to
save the one who matters most. His mate. In the month since finding her feral,
he’s been slowly losing control of his beast and soon he fears the dragon will
reign free unleashing it’s fury upon the Realms.
Delia has changed. No longer a carefree young woman, she is now
a nightmare in the making. After her abduction and torture she unwillingly
houses two beasts and more power than she can ever contain on her own. She can
never be released. Nor can she have the male who gives her any semblance of
sanity in her new world, the one she craves more than her own freedom.
With unknown enemies on the horizon and yet another God awakened
will they lose themselves in the madness of an impossible mating? Or will they
come together in searing ecstasy, bonding them in a way that sets them both
free?
Warning: Sexually explicit
content (beds actually get burned down, people) and alpha males and females
with bad language.

Author Interview
Thank you for agreeing to this interview!
Thank you for having me on the blog today, Iza :)
Who is Setta Jay?
Let's see... I'm a wife, a lover of dirty words, coffee addict (it might be more of a French vanilla creamer addiction...), a huge animal lover, and an expert traveler(in my dreams) :)
When and how did you know you wanted to become a writer?
I guess there were always stories running in my head as a kid, but it wasn't until my thirties that I decided to actually put anything to paper. It was finally after my first big Romance Writers of America conference that Ecstasy Unbound was born.
Where do you look for a source of inspiration?
Anywhere... Music is always great for that. I replayed Maroon 5's "Animals" over and over while writing Piercing Ecstasy.
Why PNR? Why Greek mythology?
I'm a huge fan of paranormal romance and writing it gives me a ton of creative freedom. My inspiration for the series came while reading Gena Showlater's Lords of the Underworld series. It all started as "what if" the Greek Gods really existed. If so, what happened to them? Was there a hint of truth to the myth or was it all a lie? That led to the construction of a whole creation concept and about a million spreadsheets. LOL
One word that defines you.
That's a tough one... "Awesome" according to my husband. I'm pretty sure he's only happy that I picked up his favorite cheese at the market. ;) I guess maybe I'd use the word "dedicated" to describe myself.
Thank you again!
Thank you! <3

Review by Iza
This series has fast become a fave of mine, because it has everything I
love: badass Alpha heroes that would do anything for their women; said
women are badass too, mythology and really hot scenes.
This story is my dragon's, Drake's. But it's not only his, actually. We also get to see where Nastia and Sander stand - I love those two, they're perfect for each other. It also continues the quest, the search for Apollo because they know nothing of the warriors that took him. And for that, Drake has to take out the big guns. The one and only God of the Underworld, Hades. I have to admit, I like this Hades. He's not the bad guy here, like you would think, and it's a nice change because in a lot of other books, he's the anti-hero, the sadist.
I had a change of heart regarding Delia. I didn't like her for Drake, but realized they're good together. I love that Hades comes to the rescue and the story is not complicated and drawn-out, the Guardians looking for a solution to the mating of Drake and Delia. That would have bummed me out. There's a tiny issue, though. I felt the lust, the affection these two have for each other. I mean, there's this scene where Drake holds Delia and places his forehead on hers that made me melt and swoon, but I didn't feel the love. Maybe I will in the next book.
All in all, it is getting more and more interesting, I'm really curious to see where Ms Jay is taking the story and the characters. So many Guardians - and not only - mating, a baby on its way, Apollo's kidnapping, Hades coming back...
And that ENDING! I need the next book NOW! That was a twist I didn't see coming, at all and I can't wait to read more!
So, there's still some hot scenes, between couples but there's also an orgy, because Hades, that's why.
4 - 4.5 stars, really, really, really liked it, Drake is still my fave but I'm thinking Hades will become a second fave.

Author Bio
Setta Jay is the author
of the popular Guardians of the Realms Series. She's garnered attention and
rave reviews in the paranormal romance world for writing smart, slightly
innocent heroines and intense alpha males. She loves writing stories that
incorporate a strong plot with a heavy dose of heat. Her influences include Judith
McNaught who she feels writes a smart heroine to perfection, Gena Showalter,
Maya Banks and Lora Leigh. You can often
find her writing compared to JR Ward, but if you are a fan of the Black Dagger
Brotherhood be warned that Setta Jay’s novels are more erotic in nature.
Born a California girl, she currently resides in Idaho with her
husband of ten plus years who she describes as incredibly sexy and supportive,
even when it’s Willy Wednesday on Twitter. ;)
She loves to hear from readers so feel free to find her on
social media or send her an email and she will happily reply.
