Lawless review by Iza

I have to say, this book truly starts out with a bang and me saying, "This is f#cked up." Because it is. Truly. Oh, not the prologue! That was kind of sweet, but what comes after that... It's... Well, it makes your skin sort of crawl because it. Is. F#cked. Up.

So, after that beginning, we get to truly find out more and more about the characters, we get to see how King & Pup are doing. Bear's all acting like he doesn't care, but he does. Of course he does. And I loved that he cared. Sure, I wanted to smack him upside the head, a time or two but I got over it.

While it was a really good one, it didn't blow me away like it did others. Will I reread it? Of course. Would I listen to the audiobook? If it's Rob Shapiro, sign me up! Would I recommend this book to my friends? Of course. And I am looking forward to reading more. The ending was a cliffhanger, obviously but the wait is shorter than you'd expect, about two months!

I liked it and I am giving it 4 stars. I received this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you.

Author Bio

T.M. [Tracey Marie] Frazier resides in sunny Southwest Florida with her husband and three feisty furkids.
She attended Florida Coast Gulf University where she specialized in public speaking. After years working in real estate and new home construction, she decided it was finally time to stop pushing her dreams to the back burner and pursue writing seriously.
In the third grade she wrote her very first story about a lost hamster. It earned rave reviews from both her teacher and her parents.
It only took her twenty years to start the next one.
It will not be about hamsters.
