I am the good girl, the one who does no wrong.

Daughter to a ferocious and strong MC President, I know what protection feels like.

Until one night changes everything - and not a single person in the world can protect me from it, not even my dad.

Suffocating. Alone. Desperate.

I let my problems live deep inside until there is no longer anywhere to run.

I need an escape. Anything to make the pain go away.

Trouble comes for me, and I don't fight it.

I tried so hard to believe in what I was,

But nobody understood.

Not until him. Not until Lucas.

He sees me. He believes in me.

He refuses to let me drown.

He’s my way out. My escape.

But Lucas is forbidden. He’s a cop. I’m in danger. And my father is trying to protect what can’t be protected.

There can only be one outcome.

Pandemonium.

4.5 stars
So I have been pretty excited for the Sinner’s Next Generation series. I am so happy to say it didn’t disappoint me. It was pretty great to re-visit the original crew while getting to know the new ones.

This is the story of Jackson and Serenity’s little girl Ava. Ava is working and has her own place and is trying to get some independence. As you can imagine she feels a little suffocated by her dad and the family even though she loves them. We get lots of great scenes with the entire sinner’s family and I especially love Addi, that girl is still a riot. Lucas Black is a cop that comes across Ava after she is hurt and terrorized by her dad’s enemies. Lucas has a really heartbreaking past. I was really surprised at how much this story made me tear up. The chemistry between Ava and Lucas was hot. They have a slight age gap and the forbidden cop versus biker’s daughter was a nice twist. While the connection between them was hot I think needed a little more time with them as a couple.

That being said for the most part I think Ms. Jewel did a great job with the pacing, backstory, and feel of the story. I noticed her posting about how this took her a few months to write versus her month. Ms. Jewel, if this is the result please keeps doing this. I am a longtime fan but I have felt some books were too rushed. It was very noticeable that she took time with this book and I loved that. This was a great story about finding love when you aren’t looking for it and healing from trauma and loss.

I am beyond excited to get Diesel and Mercy’s (at least I hope that’s happening) book. I loved Diesel’s dad so I am really hoping for some good stuff with his book. Well done Bella Jewel.
