 Review by Iza

For a year now, this has been one of my fave series ever. And I love seeing characters grow and evolve, from book to book. The change is not sudden, but gradual and it's more believable that way.

Rock & Hope. Man, they've been through a lot. Hope meeting Rock when she was still married, feeling conflicted about everything. Then, after losing her husband, she found love again with Rock. But it wouldn't be easy. Autumn put them through the wringer, throwing them one obstacle after the other, but still they stand, strong and together. We saw Rock go from a newbie President, that spent his time screwing the strippers from his strip club in his office, to a responsible President that decided it was time he made Hope his, forever, first by patching her in as his old lady, next by marrying her. But don't think it's all sunshine and rainbows. Nope. Autumn surprises us again. You'll have to read to see what I'm talking about, I won't spoil it for you.

Wrath & Trinity. I only have major love for these two, as much as they pissed me off in the previous book, Tattered on My Sleeve, where they told us their story, their struggles, laid their demons out as cards on a table, for us to see and either judge or understand. I chose to understand. Hard as it was. No, it wasn't easy. And these two grew a lot. Wrath? God almighty and holy baby cherubs, I thought I was already head-over-heels in love with him. I was proven wrong. He's PERFECT! He's big, bad, blond and so damn sweet, I couldn't stop swooning and melting! Forget Disney ruining my expectations of guys, Autumn did that by writing Wyatt 'Wrath' Ramsey.

"You are wonderful for me. I love everything about you inside and out. Whatever you need to do I'll support."

And Trinity is so much stronger, there's this scene where I whooped and cheered for her because, you go girl!

I am not ashamed to admit I now like Murphy and am hoping for the very best for him, whether that's Heidi or someone else *read the book to see what I mean*

There are so many favorite scenes from this book, it's not even funny! One thing that stopped me from giving it five solid stars is that I felt the balance was slightly off, where the couples were concerned. Plus, there were a lot of details, but while I am not a detailed person, I know others are so, that's my opinion.

I love Autumn, I love her books, I can't wait for more and am truly honored to have been given an ARC with my name on it AND to have been named official mistress of Wrath. That just... It brought tears to my eyes and had me ending the year with a big smile on my face.

So, 4.5 - 5 stars and I again thank the author for this copy given in exchange for my honest review.
