The conclusion of the Tangled Lies series is now available!

Three is a War (Book 3)

Three means war. Three sides vying for forever.
Cole. My first love. The bad boy with the dangerous smile and passionate temper draws attention like a lit fuse on dynamite. But his dark molten eyes spark only for me.
Trace. My second chance. Over six feet of Norse god in a tailored suit, he calculates every move and seizes my hungry breaths with an iron fist.
Me. The free-spirited dancer, torn between two men with no resolution in sight. I tried leaving, staying, refusing, and surrendering. What options do I have left?
I love two men, and I do the only thing I can. I fight.

I think this review will be short and sweet. I don’t have a lot to say except READ THIS TRILOGY. I am not a fan of trilogies due to the drawn out nature of them but as for the Tangled Lies Trilogy……this is how you do it people. This is how you play out a love triangle. Prepare to be chewed up and spit out while reading this series. You will be just as torn as Danni and love every minute of it.

Three is a War picks up right where book two left off. I wasn’t quite certain I was going to like where this was heading but as usual Godwin pulled it off. I can tell you I was leaning towards Danni choosing one man in particular. I knew I would be okay with either choice she made though. I am blown away that a choice I thought I wanted didn’t feel right when it happened. But hold onto your hats because Ms. Godwin will throw you for a loop yet again. I can tell you be prepared to cry the last 30% of the book. The choices made and broken hearts will leave you shattered. I was not prepared for all the tears but it was well worth it.

P.S. I want more. I can’t say for who or what because I can’t spoil but pretty, pretty please.

*4.5 stars*
I was worried about how this ending would play out, but Ms. Goodwin executed it perfectly. While Danni still struggles to make a decision between Cole and Trace, she's trying to search deeper within herself to find what makes her happy. I'm not envious of Danni's dilemma, as she has two wonderful, completely opposite men to choose from...and I'd hate to be in her shoes. I liked the way the story wrapped up, and I think things ended in a way where everyone was as happy with their situation as it could be.

One is a Promise (Book 1)

One promise. One forever.
One look and I knew Cole was mine. My dark rebel in leather. My powerhouse of passion, devastating smiles, and impulsiveness. When his job sends him overseas, he promises to return to me. A promise that’s destroyed in the most irrevocable way.
Two years later, an arrogant suit invades my heartbroken loneliness.
Clean-cut and stern, Trace is everything Cole wasn’t. At first, he’s a job that will rescue my dance company. But as he intrudes on my life, our hostile relationship evolves. He knows I’m still in love with Cole, but his dedication is my undoing.
Then a catastrophic moment changes everything.
Promises resurface. Lies entangle. And an impossible choice shatters my world.
I love two men, and I can only have one.

Two is a Lie (Book 2)

Two lies. Two men who don’t share.
I never stopped loving Cole. Not when he left me. Not when he disappeared for three years. Not when he crashed back into my life in a violent explosion of testosterone and fury. His sudden reappearance questions everything I thought I knew, including how I came to love another man.
Trace is an intoxicating breeze of seduction over ice. My rock. My second chance at forever. And he’s committed to annihilating the competition.
The battle that ensues wrenches me back and forth between them. Fighting and fucking. Resisting and submitting.
Together, they entangle me in a web of lies, rivalry, and desire that weaves as deeply as their devotion to me.
I love two men, and if I can only have one, I choose none.

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review.
Savannah must close the door on her past before she can have any chance of a real future with Cole. She’s beyond broken and the only way she is going to be able to move on is to do it on her own, thanks to her new family, they will be there to catch her if she falls.
I became emotionally attached to this series 10 minutes into chapter 1 in Broken so I was elated to be able to find out what happens to all the characters I love in this final book. I cried, I laughed, and I wished for more. Savannah and Cole have finally found their happily ever after. Savi has all the love and support from her friends and family that she never had from her own father and best friend. Sexy alpha military men and the women who love them, it doesn’t get any better than that. Thank you J.L. Drake, your words bring so much emotion from happiness and tragedy.

Growing up on the east coast of Canada the change in the seasons is in her blood and is often mentioned in her writing.
An avid reader of James Patterson, J.L. Drake has often found herself inspired by his many stories of mystery and intrigue.
She hopes you will enjoy her stories as much as she has enjoyed writing them.

Stylo always brings a unique story with real characters and Muscle Memory has all this and more. She isn't afraid to write messy characters and I love that. And even though you may dislike them at times, or dislike their choices you root for them.

Jayson and Delaney are a hot mess. They are homeless, can’t keep jobs, and abuse drugs. You know the path they are on can only come crashing down and it does. Luckily they make it out alive but Jayson walks away with no memory. He has to pick up the pieces of his life and in doing so he starts to rebuild but he is desperate to remember. I loved Jayson but some of his choices along the way drove me crazy. I have to say that Delaney in particular stole my heart. She is incredibly strong, selfless, and brave. I won’t spoil their journey for you but this is definitely worth the read.
Well Done!

This is definitely one of my favorite books written by Stylo Fantome. I love when an author can take a character whose path is murky and make me like them; hell, even root for them!

Jayson and Delaney are addicts; neither can hold a job for long, they squat in a vacant apartment building....but at the same time they want to be more for the other. Their lives take a shocking turn one fateful night and it alters their paths irrevocably.

I loved the glimpses into their past life and then their paths forward. It wasn't all smooth sailing and was an emotional journey. This was the story of a soul recognizing it's counterpart, despite the circumstances and proving that love can triumph in spite of it all.

Author Bio

Crazy woman from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

Release Review ~ Cessy by Ambere Sabo

Title: Cessy
Series: A Silent Sons MC
Author: Ambere Sabo
Genre:  MC Romance
Release Date: August 17, 2017
I was born the Princess of an MC I knew nothing about. Thrown into their world of crazy, when I had no other options. Despised by the club for things out of my control. It took me a long time to find my way in this life, but I became the Princess I was born to be. Now they have taken my Pops from me, and I will bring hell on earth to those who caused his death.
The Silent Sons have promised to help me find those responsible. I was looking for answers, and I found Mr. Tall, Dark, and Broody. Will he be my saving grace in this life or will we both lose our lives when we find an enemy more twisted than we could imagine?

This was given as an ARC for an honest opinion.

This is book #1 of the Silent Sons MC series.

Growing up in an MC isn't easy.
Especially when you're a girl.
And your dad's the President.
And many of the members aren't happy you're hanging around.
But Cessy is tough and Cessy is on a mission. A mission trying to figure out the real reason for her father's death. A mission trying to figure out why one of the club members has been stealing money from the club. A mission trying to determine if any other club members are dirty. And a mission that digs up some ugly family workings. So what does she do? She turns to another club with which she has a personal connection to for help on her mission. Which leads her right into the personal space of one very broody Sgt at Arms, Venom.

This is the first book I've read from this author and I believe it's the first book she's written. Honestly, it wasn't bad. There were a few things I couldn't get behind like how Cessy was so much of a power figure within the club because we all know MC's don't cotton to women giving orders and being on equal ground as the men. The fact that she's a super tough chick, but was several times described as "giggling" throughout the book. I just couldn't fit both images in my head together to make a whole. And the fact that she went to another club for help and aired all the dirty laundry of her dad's club. Loyalty is everything within an MC and woman or not, full fledged member or not, going to another club for help without the leaders of your club knowing is grounds for very bad repercussions.  The writing style was different from what I'm use to, but it wasn't by any means something I couldn't follow. And it was a FAR cry from being something that would make me DNF. I think as this author writes more books this will all come together nicely. I give this book a very solid 3.5 stars. The ending left more of the story to be told, but not like a true cliffhanger where you're mad you came this far only to be told to wait. I do look forward to reading book #2 because I wanna see some guy get what he has coming to him!
