Review
This book is book 1 of a 2 part series.  It's more of NA type than Pamela's usual books.

 Olivia and Greyson's love story started back in third grade with a game of spin the bottle and sharing their first kiss.


"You're mine now, Olivia Taylor."
And he was mine.
Glancing down at my lucky charm bracket that I'd made last week, I pulled it off my wrist and handed it to him.  "Here, keep it safe.  I'll always come back to you."
"Are we forever, Liv?"
"Forever, Grey," I promised.



Their good times ended abruptly which led to a lifelong rift between them.  Finally, during their senior year of high school, they have no choice but to be stuck together.  Insert the drama and angst.  It covers the full spectrum of highs and lows and then ends before we find out the direction their lives take.  

 I really liked Greyson.  In many of Pamela's novels, it's easy to have a love/hate relationship with the male leads, but I've got nothing but love for Greyson.  What a guy.

 I'm looking forward to book 2, the conclusion of their story.

Review
Who I Am is book 3 in the FireNine series.

 It is Roy's story.  I was so looking forward to learning the reasons behind why Roy comes across the way he does.




"You're a soldier.  You're my soldier.  You've been here for me when no one else was.  Don't give up on yourself just because you feel bad for me.  I'm okay.  I'll always be okay."




And knowing that was like a knife in the chest.  Not the heart, but the chest.  It would've been better if the knife were to the heart.  It'd kill me.  But no, this pain lingered and weighed on my chest.  It was deep.  It was excruciating.  It was relentless.  
There were so many ups and downs in this book.  Roy goes through the ringer.  No wonder he always looked like he killed kittens.  It was great to see his soft side too.  I love Roy even more now.

These are the kind of movies I've never planned to watch. It was a taboo topic where I grew up. As a kid I had only heard of it in passing. In middle school my parents would talk about my creepy uncle Frank and how he should look for a job instead of watching "those movies" all day. In High School boys thought it was funny to ask my friends and me to star in the amateur adult films they were making. In college most of my guy friends watched them, but I never had. When I moved to California that changed.

After surprising my fiancé at home and catching him screwing another woman, I hopped in my car and started driving. I was running away from my old life and I needed a change. I remembered my friend Tawny inviting me to visit her in Los Angeles, so that's where I went.

I didn’t find Tawny when I got there, but I did find her gorgeous roommate, Jared. Our friendship started out rough, but he gave me a place to stay and helped me get back on my feet. He became my best friend. My best friend who millions of women happened to lust over.

Jared plays by a different set of rules, where anything goes. His lifestyle is unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed before and it scares me. When you live your life on the edge, eventually you'll fall over. I didn't want to see that happen to him.

Review
This is a very unique and entertaining story.  I enjoyed it.  The author did a great job of storytelling and bringing something new to the reader.

 I liked it because it was so different.  Most adult contemporary romance stories are about bikers, rock stars, billionaire businessmen, Doms, fighters, Masters, virgin first loves or love triangles.  I found it refreshing to read a love story involving a porn star.  It was outside the norm for me.  I did have some "no no no don't" moments cause I was jealous on the other's behalf, but it was definitely worth the money to buy it & the time it took to read it.

 It revealed a lot about the porn industry that I had never taken the time to even contemplate, and it did have somewhat of a message within.

 Also it was hot.
