Ohmigod, that ending!

Okay, so, this book actually contains things I should dislike. But nooo, I actually really liked the book, the story, and the characters. Preppy, I love you. Bear *swoon*

Oh and #TeamDoe, all the way!

King kind of made me feel schizophrenic, I'd either like him or dislike him. It started out with liking. He's funny. Then, he goes and does things, making me dislike him. I get used to disliking him, he does something to make me like him, all over again. Then dislike. Then like. Then THAT ENDING!

The narrators did a really good job. Rob Shapiro is really an awesome King.

So, 4 stars, really good. Now, jumping into book 2.

P.S. Well done, Ms. Frazier. Well done.

Title: Tyrant
Author: T.M. Frazier
Series: King
Release Date: August 16th 2015

Synopsis

I. Remember. Everything.

Only now I wish I didn't.

When the fog is sucked away from my mind like smoke through a vacuum, the truth that has been beyond my reach for months finally reveals itself.

But the relief I thought I would feel never comes, and I'm more afraid now than I was the morning I woke up handcuffed in King's bed.

Because with the truth comes dark secrets I was never meant to know.

I will put the lives of those I love most at risk if I let on that my memory has returned, or if I seek help from the heavily tattooed felon who owns me body and soul.

I don't know if I'm strong enough to resist the magnetic pull toward King that grows stronger every day.

He's already saved me in more ways than one. Now it's my turn to do whatever it takes to save him.

Even if that means marrying someone else...

Tyrant is a full length novel at 80,000 words.

Oh my God, this one was better than the first! As I've already mentioned in the review for King, I had a like/dislike relationship with King, with him being all hot and cold. Here? I actually liked him and my heart broke for him. For him, for Bear - oh, man, I couldn't bear to listen to certain scenes, I thought of skipping them - and for Doe.

At the end of King, Doe found out the truth about who she was and what she was. She went back, but she found she couldn't fit in anymore. But did she ever really fit in?

Lemme tell you, it has some twists and turns you're not going to expect. Scenes that will make you shudder. But don't worry, the ending will make it worth it. It will make it worth reading the gory and raw scenes. Because that's what this one is. Gory and raw.

That being said, I now like King, he did a 180 from the way he was in book 1 and I cannot wait to read about Bear. He broke my heart and I wanna see him get his HEA. I'm a sucker for a good HEA.

4.5 stars, I wasn't expecting to enjoy them so much, the narrators did another awesome job.
