5 Beautiful Stars

In an effort to keep to keep this review spoiler free I will be brief. I will say this is another winner by Tillie Cole. Ms. Cole knows how to weave her words to punch you in the gut emotionally.

A Thousand boy Kisses is the once in a lifetime love story between a boy and a girl. It is about two souls that meet at the age of 5 and the love that carries them through. A promise a little girl makes to her beloved grandmother, and the promises Rune and Poppy make to each other. This story was so heartbreakingly beautiful I just don't have the words for it. You should definitely go into this blind but be prepared to shed a million tears. Just know in the end you will also be healed by the beautiful love that Poppy and Rune share. Everyone deserves to be loved the way these two love each other, and every girl with stars in her eyes deserves a boy like Rune.

I have read one other novel that has stuck with me and ended up on my epic love story list and A Thousand Boy Kisses has joined that list. This book is a must read! Go Now!

5 *As Special As Special Can Be* Stars

This book has just floored me. It's different from anything I've read from Tillie before (and I've read most of them!). In my best effort to make this as spoiler-free as possible, I'm going to keep this short and sweet.

This book, essentially, is about the love and devotion of a boy and a girl. The premise behind A Thousand Boy Kisses is sweet and special, and quite central to the story line. Poppy and Rune are each other's one in a lifetime love and they both recognize it at a very early age, and cling to it. I won't say more without ruining it. What I will say is that this book gutted me in an absolutely beautiful way; bravo to Tillie Cole for making me love her as an author even more than I did before.

5 Stars

I think this book will join the likes of The Fault in Our Stars and Me Before You as books future generations will be terrified to read.

A Thousand Boy Kisses is pure fantasy romance. It's not realistic. But so what. It's supposed to make the seventeen year old girl in you swoon with the possibility of experiencing an epic love like Rune and Poppy's. And even though I was a crying mess throughout the book, hours after I finished I'm smiling. My heart is full. Just a beautiful story. Perfect ending. Bravo.
