Ravage Me, Ravage MC series by Ryan Michele

Release Date: February 4

Synopsis

After spending the last two years stuck behind bars for a crime she didn’t commit, Harlow ‘Princess’ Gavelson’s time inside has finally come to an end, and she’s ready for revenge. Unfortunately, being the daughter to the Vice President of the Ravage Motorcycle Club cuts into her plans, as orders must be followed. Trying to settle back into this life is proving difficult when the tables are turned and the woman who framed her is out for blood. Lucky for Princess, growing up in a MC has taught her how to hold her own.
After spending years in hell overseas, Donavon ‘Cruz’ came home to lose the very thing he went into hell for, sending him to the darkest moments of his life. Joining Ravage two years ago was his safe haven, and he protects his family at all costs.
When a dark-haired bombshell struts into the club’s shop, he’s caught off guard but immediately knows she’s the one he’d do anything for. Tough as nails, and taking no crap from anyone, he’s captivated by a woman who could handle this life. Trying to meet the needs of the MC business and follow his heart proves to be difficult when the two collide, and lives are at stake.
Can these two find a way to be together, or will the needs of Ravage cost them everything, including their lives?

About the Author

I'm a mom and a wife who works full time. I have a huge obsession with collecting paperbacks and reading. Becoming an author, wasn't exactly what I set out to do, it just happened. I needed something to help me get rid of the feeling of being 'just a mom' or 'just a wife' that was consuming me and writing became that outlet. My book(s) cover some tough issues which are hard for some readers to digest. I am grateful for every single one of you who read my books.

Review

Wow. Like really!

Let's start with the fact that I love MC books and it's been a while since I've stumbled upon one that I loved. Not liked but LOVED. One that didn't make me say, "Eh, it was okay," or "Well, I've read it once but not a second time."
I've missed saying "Holy shit, I LOVED this!" And not just the book. Not just the story. But the characters. Some may know I'm picky and that I hate weak female lead characters. Really, nothing makes me NOT want to finish a book than a spineless woman.

But oh, Ryan Michele delivered this one perfectly! It's like she KNEW how to write her heroine and really, since it's an MC book, I would have been sorely disappointed had I read about Harlow being weak. She's anything BUT!

Harlow is damn perfect! She's not only gorgeous and smart but she's fierce and loyal and she would do anything for the ones she loves, for her brothers, for her family. Because she's the Princess of the Ravage MC and everyone knows it. Club mommas - nicely put 'whores' - do and they envy her. Hence, why she lands in jail.
I can't recall the last time I loved a female character this much. Well, actually I do, since unfortunately, there are but a few. I have a huge crush on her. Hell, I'm damn sure I'm in love with her! And really, what's not to love? She fights her own battles, she can take care of herself but she knows when to shut up and let others handle what needs to be handled.

The perfect guy for Harlow 'Princess' is none other than Donovan Cruz, ex-Marine. He's tall, he's big. He's bad and won't take NO for an answer. And thank God for that! I really couldn't have seen any other guy to have the balls to stand up to this woman and to know how the handle her because Harlow sure is a handful and then some!
But Cruz does a good job.

Cruz. Yes, he's possessive but really, he just knows what he wants and goes after it, balls-to-the-wall and no-holds-barred. Gotta love a guy that doesn't give up and does everything in his power to get the girl he wants.

See how this review is mostly about Harlow? That may be because I'm in love with her.

Anyway, this story is told from two POVs: Harlow and Cruz, so we get to see what they think, how they feel. It starts with Harlow getting out of prison after being in there for two years. She wants revenge and she won't give up until she has it. It started as a one-(wo)man mission but ended up being club business, with everyone involved.

Things get wrapped up perfectly and at the end, you'll be screaming for more.

I give this book five revving stars and can't wait to see what happens next in book #2, Seduce Me!

Quick P.S. I would like to thank Jessica for gifting it to me!
