Kayden is a bad boy that never played by the rules. Sophia has always been the quintessential good girl, living a life filled with disappointment. Everything changes when their lives become intertwined through a chance encounter online.
Hundreds of miles separate them, but the connection that draws them together is too much to be denied. As the layers of their lives peel back, Kayden keeps the dangerous parts of his past hidden to protect the woman who is becoming more important to him than he should allow. What starts as a pursuit of carnal pleasure turns into a complicated love story. His past is a tangled web filled with addiction, an obsessed ex-girlfriend, and problems with the law.
One mistake he thought he had left behind may end up ruining it all.

Review
Untangle Me is not one of those books with fantasy billionaire men, or fantasy BDSM guys or any of the other fantasy hunks we've come to know as our book heroes as of late.  This book isn't fantasy at all.  It's so real life that I could hardly handle some of it.

Most of the story takes place in New Orleans, Louisiana.  I must say that the author is pretty good in their description of Louisiana.  I know cause I live here.  The pouring rain while the sun is out that immediately goes away and dries up because it's so hot, yep.  ALL the alcohol and drinking being a main part of life, yep.

Sophia is a boring school librarian.  She has zero excitement in her life.  Enter Kayden.

Kayden made my heart and mind hurt.  He just couldn't catch a break and had so many demons.  He really was a good man deep down, and I think I would have liked him more if he didn't remind me of my life.  Now my moto is run away immediately when I see a man like that.  I just wouldn't be able to be strong enough to be his rock.  But honestly, I have to say I can understand him and empathize with him.

The next book is suppose to go back to fill in his history.  I think it will be exciting.
